Rosie Langabeer is an award-winning songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and educator with a passion for fostering creativity and collaboration through music education.  She holds a BMus in Jazz Composition from Massey University and has extensive (20+ years) experience teaching all levels of classical/jazz/rock keyboard, as well as mentoring bands and running vocal, songwriting and musical improvisation/jam sessions. 

Hailed by the New York Times, Rosie also works internationally as a composer and musician, collaboratively creating award-winning scores for theatre, film and contemporary ballet.  Her approach is highly sensitive to the unique qualities, skills and motivations of her students and collaborators, and she is adept at tailoring the material and methods to suit each person and situation.
